Release Notes v0.58
Release v0.58 brings updates like viewing Secret Values for improved transparency, EKS upgrade 1.29, support for Amazon DocumentDB, as well as enhancements and some bug fixes.
✨ What's New
-
Viewing Secret Values for Improved Transparency
Facets now grants authorized users the ability to view secret values directly within the secrets and variables table. This enhancement builds upon our previous release, which improved the Central Audit Logs by displaying the keys of overridden secrets and variables. -
EKS 1.29 Upgrade
EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) has been upgraded to version 1.29. The upgrade is seamless and requires no user intervention, ensuring a smooth transition to the latest version. During the upgrade process, there will be no downtime or service interruptions.
🚀 Product Capabilities
- Amazon DocumentDB support
You can now create and manage DocumentDB instances directly within your AWS environments, by adding them as a flavor of MongoDB resource. This enables you to leverage your existing MongoDB expertise and tools while benefiting from the robust and scalable infrastructure of AWS.
📈 Enhancements
- Scale down of resources in non-default namespace
We now support the scale-down of resources running in non-default namespaces.
🐞 Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where the resource filter was highlighting the change but not filtering it when searching for specific changes in the release details section.
- Fixed a memory leak in the Kubernetes client pod watchLogs.
